When you think about the most expensive neighborhoods in the US what comes first to mind? For most people that will be NYC neighborhoods and they will be right. New York has many expensive neighborhoods, but you can also find them in California, Florida, and many other places. Some people are looking to find affordable areas and some prefer expensive, luxury areas and that’s all great. We all choose what works best for us. Los Altos Hills, in the heart of Silicon Valley, is home to 8,000 people, many of whom are employed in the technology sector. You will also see many celebrities living here like the CEO of Google – Sundar Pichai and the famous actress Adrienne Barbeau. Steve Jobs used to live here as well.

This might be the best neighborhood in California to live in. If you like a suburban feel, this can be the perfect place for you. Tribeca, New York

If you are looking for good investment you should go to New Jersey but if you are looking for an affluent neighborhood then look no further than NYC. Tribeca is in New York City and the Zip Code is 10013. The median list price is $5,137,000. This area includes sections of SoHo, Little Italy, and Chinatown and is home to about $20 million in luxury penthouses with floor-to-ceiling glass. It’s no secret that celebs and techies love to call New York City’s Tribeca district home. When it comes to finding a place to work or live in New York City, Tribeca is often ranked as the most desirable neighborhood.

Tribeca hosts the annual Tribeca Film Festival and is frequented by A-listers like Robert Deniro, Harvey Keitel, Justin Timberlake, and Harry Styles. If you wish to live close to all those celebrities, all you need to do is find a realtor who can get you your ideal home and call local movers. Glenbrook is a census-designated area in Douglas County, Nevada, on the eastern coast of Lake Tahoe. The ZIP code here is 89413 and the median list price is $3,225,340.  At the time of the last census in 2010, there were 215 people living there. This is the perfect place for you if you wish to live in a nice and posh area and to avoid crowds as well.  The residents and guests of the gated enclave of Glenbrook are the only people allowed on the beach and bay. This is perfect for those who like their privacy.  There are several high-end residences in this area. The beach and bay are off-limits to the general public.

Glenbrook is a quaint and tranquil little neighborhood. You get the best of both worlds in this neighborhood. Residents of Glenbrook have easy access to the expansive greenery as well as calming nature of the Blue Mountains. You are far away from the city noise and mess and yet you are an hour (train ride) away if you start to miss it for some reason. This is a pretty good deal. We have one more place for you.

Now something different. This area is only accessible by helicopter or boat so you know there won’t be any strangers walking by. If you don’t mind traveling often this can be a perfect place. Did you know that Fisher Island was once owned (completely) by the Vanderbilt family? Now, you can buy a home there. The median list price is $3,707,000. Another fun fact for you – This area has the highest per capita income (of any place) in the USA. Most families don’t live the year round here. Many of the homes are actually second homes but in total, about 700 families live here. Fisher Island is also a place where celebrities live. Julia Roberts, Oprah, Boris Becker, and Andre Agassi are just some of them.

Medina, Washington

Do you know who lives here? Sure you do, Bill Gates and Jeff Bezos live here and that tells you a lot about this neighborhood. In fact, most of Seattle’s elite live here and you could too. King County’s Medina is widely regarded as one of the states of Washington’s most desirable residential areas. If you do some research you will see just how charming this place is.

The majority of people who live in Medina own their homes, contributing to the town’s rural atmosphere. Some people like that and some dont. It’s up to you to decide.  A great number of parks can be found in Medina. Dog owners and families with kids like this fact.  The population of Medina tends to hold moderate political views. Medina is home to a large number of retirees who enjoy comfortable salaries. You can also find some very high-end retirement homes in the area.
